UC Football Secures Big 10 Quarterback Transfer

Cincinnati football has its first major transfer portal addition this cycle in Indiana redshirt freshman quarterback Brendan Sorsby. The dual-threat passer visited in recent days and committed quickly.

He passed for 1,587 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions this past season (57.6 QBR, 72nd nationally) across seven starts. He also ran for 286 yards on 2.6 yards per carry, with four scores.

According to On3, Sorsby is the 90th-ranked transfer quarterback available. He notched a 69.4 overall PFF grade this past season (107th nationally). For reference, Emory Jones tallied a 70.4 overall grade. The 6-foot-5 passer has three years of eligibility left.
