UCLA Football: Bruins' Bowl Game Opponent Projected
USA TODAY Sports

Your UCLA Bruins didn’t have the season they envisioned, and they ended Pac-12 play with an embarrassing 33-7 loss to their rivals, the Cal Golden Bears.

The Bruins end their 2023 regular season play with a record of 7-5 and are eligible for a bowl game. It’s not a bowl game that is one of their first choices, but they have an opportunity to pick up a win in December.

We’re not sure what bowl game they will be in exactly, but CBS Sports college football expert Jerry Palm predicts the Bruins will stay in Los Angeles and play in the Los Angeles Bowl against the UNLV Rebels.

The game is set for December 16th at SoFi Stadium.

The last time these two teams faced off was early in the 2016 season, with Josh Rosen under center for the Bruins. UCLA grabbed the win in this one at the Rose Bowl with a 42-21 win. Rosen threw for 267 yards with one touchdown and completed 23 of his 38 passes.

If they happen to play UNLV in this bowl game, it will be the third meeting between these two programs, and the Bruins will look to improve to 3-0 all-time.
