
After three consecutive league championship game appearances and bowl trips, UNLV Football will make its first regular-season appearance on FOX in 2026. Moreover, the Mountain West announced that the upcoming schedule includes at least 11 national TV broadcasts.
Led by second-year head coach Dan Mullen, the Rebels will open their 59th season on August 29 against Memphis. This marks the teams’ first meeting. Importantly, this Week Zero matchup at Allegiant Stadium will conclude the first day of college football nationwide. UNLV’s previous three FOX appearances were in Mountain West championship games.
Six of UNLV’s 12 games will air on CBS Sports Network. The schedule begins with the first home meeting against Cal from the ACC on October 3 at 12:30 pm. There are additional broadcasts including games at Air Force (October 17, 12:30 pm PT). Furthermore, the schedule includes a home game against NIU (October 31, 7:30 pm). In addition, there are games at home against Wyoming (November 7, 7:30 pm). There is a game at San Jose State (November 21, 4 pm). Also, the annual Battle for the Fremont Cannon against UNR will take place in Las Vegas (November 28, 6 pm).
The CW, a new Mountain West broadcast partner available on Cox channel 6 in Southern Nevada, will televise three Rebel games. These include: at Hawai’i (September 5, 7 pm PT), at home against NDSU for Homecoming (October 10, 4 pm), and at New Mexico (November 14, 4:30 pm PT).
The road game at North Texas on September 12 will air on ESPNU at 12:45 pm PT. In addition, the September 26 game at Akron will be televised on an ESPN channel. The specific network and kickoff time will be announced 12 days in advance.
UNLV, with 30 wins over the past three years, aims for a fourth consecutive appearance in the Mountain West Football Championship Game. The championship will take place at the first-place team’s home stadium on Friday, December 4 at 6 pm PT on FOX.
