The Tennessee Vols are set to travel to Fayetteville this weekend for a matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Tennessee is looking for its first win against Arkansas since 2007. The Vols are a 13.5 point road favorite against the Razorbacks.
Former Florida Gators/Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer, who is high on the Vols this season, thinks Tennessee will cover the spread on Saturday night.
"I'm still a Tennessee bandwagon guy," said Meyer on this week's edition of The Triple Option. "I think they're a top four team in the country...Nico (Iamaleava), I've talked about him over and over again. He's certainly a Heisman candidate. He won't win it with the other performances (from other players). But I'm going to talk about the Tennessee defense. No. 1 total defense in America. And that's the thing that's overshadowed because everyone wants to talk about that offense. It's one of the two or three most balanced teams in America as far as offense and defense.
"I'm going to pick Tennessee to cover the spread. 13.5 point favorite, I'm taking Tennessee."
The Vols shouldn't have any issues with Arkansas. Tennessee is the more talented team and they're much deeper. But crazy things can happen in road games in the SEC -- especially at night. The Vols, however, appear to be well-focused this season. It seems unlikely that they'll be taking the Razorbacks lightly on Saturday night.
