Urban Meyer would coach his biggest rival Michigan under one wild condition
Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK

Urban Meyer is one of the best coaches ever to coach college football and brought home three national championships, two at Florida and one at Ohio State.

Meyer became a household name when he took over Florida in the mid-2000s and then took the Ohio State job in 2012 in the state he was born and raised in.

The 60-year-old head coach had a winning record of 7-0 against Michigan while he was the head coach of the Buckeyes, and this past weekend, Meyer and the Fox Big Noon Kickoff crew were in Ann Arbor for the Texas at Michigan game, and the fans in the Maize and Blue and some fun with Meyer.

Michigan fans booed Meyer when he spoke, and of course, they didn’t like the guy who beat them for seven straight seasons.

Even though Meyer can’t stand Michigan, he did state he would coach the team, but it had to be under one condition.

Urban Meyer Would Coach Michigan

Former USC quarterback Matt Leinart, who co-hosts Big Noon Kickoff with Meyer, asks him how much it would take for Meyer to coach at Michigan. Leinart said $10 million a year, and Meyer said no, but he did say yes to coaching them at $25 million yearly.

It would be interesting to see Meyer coaching at Michigan, and it would be neat to see if he would take the job if Michigan offered him the 25 million dollars if the job opened up down the road.

Meyer coaching at Michigan would be really weird, and there’s a zero percent chance it would ever happen. Michigan could offer Meyer all the money in the world, and he still wouldn’t accept the job.

There is way too much hate between Meyer and Michigan for him to ever work for that program, and Michigan probably wouldn’t even want to hire him.

No Ohio State fan would be able to forgive Meyer if he did coach their arch-rival, and don’t worry, Buckeye fans, because it will never happen.
