The Utes have just landed a young wide receiver talent, furthering their offensive transfer portal success as Justin Stevenson has officially signed with the program.

Stevenson is coming off his freshman season in Laramie in which he snagged 17 receptions for 204 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing five times for 40 yards.

The 6-foot-1 192-pound Katy, Texas native had his best game against one of the best teams in the nation this season as he racked up 82 yards and a touchdown on four receptions against the Boise State Broncos.

Coming out of Paetow High School, Stevenson was a three-star prospect and ranked as the 241st overall prospect in the state of Texas and was also the 215th overall wide receiver prospect in the nation.

New wide receivers coach Micah Simon is doing incredibly well with his transfer portal recruiting, and this acquisition is no different. Stevenson is an extremely talented pass catcher with ideal measurables, and at such a young age, he could develop into a key piece for Utah in the coming years.

Stevenson has now become the fifth wide receiver to commit to the Utes this transfer window as he will now join Creed Whittmore, Otto Tia, Ryan Davis, and Nate Johnson in the revamped room.

Should Dorian Singer be able to return for one final season, Stevenson would have a plethora of guys to learn from, and while he may not be an every-down contributor to the team in 2025, his outlook for the future is sky high.
