Utah WR Taeshaun Lyons Re-Enters Portal

On December 26th, Taeshaun Lyons entered his name into the portal and then withdrew it in a span of two confusing hours.

Now, the former four-star prospect has entered his name into the portal once more, according to On3's Pete Nakos, furthering the confusion. The former Washington Huskies wideout was expected to transfer from Utah after only one season, as he only played in four games, recording one reception for four yards.

Despite his talent and measurables, the Hayward, California native would most likely not see the field in 2025 amid Jason Beck and Micah Simon's offensive revamp.

With the addition of talented wide receivers like Creed Whittemore, Ryan Davis and most recently, Otto Tia, the room has become even more competitive heading into the new year.

This move has also sparked a slew of memes regarding the situation, including a plethora of gifs that perfectly represent the flip-flop nature of the young wife receivers saga.

If any single set of decisions could perfectly represent the modern-day college football landscape, it's this. While it can generate a good laugh, regulation is desperately needed sooner rather than later.

In terms of Lyons' market, considering he has such little film, it's hard to imagine he will end up at a Power 4 program.
