Virginia Tech vs Georgia Tech Prediction: Yellow Jackets Can't Slip
© Zachary Taft-Imagn Images

Georgia Tech has been 5-0, but it's been a hard-living 5-0.

It needed to battle to get by Colorado on the road, it was a great fight to slip by Clemson, and it took way too much work to get by Wake Forest in a 30-29 thriller.

This looked and played like a team that needed a break, and it got one. Now it needs to look like a team in the College Football Playoff hunt.

It isn't exactly a lost season for Virginia Tech, but after losing to Wake Forest last week, it can't afford many other misfires if it hopes to go bowling.

Virginia Tech has tightened up a bit over the last few games, but the big plays were there down the field in big early losses, so ...

Can Georgia Tech play an easy power conference game?

Going back to last season, the last seven games Georgia Tech played against power conference teams have all been decided by one score. The last time it played in a power game that wasn't tight was against ...

Virginia Tech.

The Hokies won 31-6 last year, but King wasn't able to go. At home, and with time to take a deep breath, the Yellow Jackets keep marching on.
