Conner Harrell played well stepping in for Max Johnson and finished with 258 total yards, throwing for 219 and 2 touchdowns and rushing for another score. Davion Gause was a monster on the ground for Mack Brown's club, racking up 105 yards on just 16 carries and scoring a touchdown in the win. He also did his best Lamar Jackson impersonation with a beautiful hurdle of a defender on one of his longest runs. The Carolina defense was stout, registering 3 sacks and 9 tackles for a loss in the game.
