Georgia Tech vs. Colorado: The Yellow Jackets went on the road and picked up a Power 4 victory, defeating the Buffaloes, 27-20. The game got off to a rocky start with Georgia Tech turning the ball over on each of it's first three possessions, but they only gave up seven points off those turnovers, and at halftime the game was tied 10-10. With the game tied at 20 with 1:17 left, quarterback Haynes King broke free for a game-winning 45-yard touchdown run. King ran the ball 19 times for 156 yards and three touchdowns. He also passed for 143 yards on 13-20 passing. Running back Jamal Haynes ran for 65 yards on 16 carries. For Colorado, Kaidon Salter passed for 159 yards and a touchdown, and he ran for 43 yards and a second score.
