The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets showed a lot of future promise as they battled with another up-and-coming team but fell to Vanderbilt, 35-27. Haynes King did everything he could to keep the game close and finished with 204 passing yards on 25-33 passing with 3 touchdowns in the win. Jamal Haynes was great in the loss, toting the ball 17 times for 136 yards while catching 5 passes for 32 yards and a touchdown. Diego Pavia had a spectacular game for the Commodores with 244 total yards and 5 touchdowns responsible for in the win.
