The Orange Bowl was such a beatdown on Saturday that even Will Muschamp’s son saw some playing time for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Georgia destroyed Florida State 63-3 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. with numerous top Seminoles players not playing in the game. The contest was so out of hand that Jackson Muschamp got to play quarterback for the Bulldogs’ final offensive possession.
Muschamp, a junior quarterback, even rushed 14 yards for a first down on a third-and-5 with under three minutes remaining. Will Muschamp, who is a co-defensive coordinator for the Bulldogs, was loving it on the sidelines.

Muschamp was rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports’ composite ratings. He had scholarship offers from seven schools, including Colorado State and Boston College. He walked on at Georgia, though, and on Saturday, he logged the first stats of his career.
His father was quite proud.
