Watch: Kenny Dillingham proud of ASU beating ‘a very good football team’ Wyoming, praising student section

Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham was impressed by his team’s season-opening 48-7 win over Wyoming, credited Sam Leavitt for how well he played in his Sun Devils debut, the defense coming up big, hosting one of the largest student sections in program history and more.

ASU heavily outgained Wyoming 499-118 in yardage, had 27 first downs and only let the Cowboys have eight, Leavitt passed for 258 yards from 14 completions and both Zyrus Fiaseu and Keyshaun Elliott recorded interceptions.

Beginning the season with a statement win, Arizona State (1-0) clash in Tempe once again, going up against Mississippi State (1-0) on Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. PT.
