Tensions tend to to reach a higher level amongst conference teams, but usually that doesn’t include ball boys. However, that wasn’t the case in Pittsburgh this afternoon when a Louisville ball boy got a bit too aggressive in his attempt to get a ball back.
Yes, he was trying to get the Louisville ball back, but his method may have been over the top. At the same time, the Pittsburgh players should have realized that he wasn’t a Louisville player. Overall, it didn’t amount to much of anything.
Maybe, this play inspired Louisville as after this scuffle, the Cardinals scored 17 consecutive points to make it a game. I’m sure Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm will use any motivation necessary to inspire his team.
