Watch: NC State RB Hollywood Smothers: A Star Is Born

NC State running back Daylan "Hollywood" Smothers has picked up from where he left off last season when he was emerging as a budding star. This season he is off to the races and has truly found a home back in his native state of North Carolina after transferring from the University of Oklahoma. Smothers is fourth in all of college football with 503 yards. His 80 carries pace all backs in the conference in addition to his 6.3 yards per carry leading the ACC. He has rushed for four scores which places him in a tie for third in the conference. The Wolfpack's rush attack has greatly benefited as they are fifth in the league at 174.3 yards per contest.
