Robert Griffin III has found a home as a football analyst for ESPN and he has developed a reputation for really getting into games and describing plays with some pretty strange hyperbole.
Sometimes he can get a little over the top with things.
He took that to a new — and very biblical — level on Saturday night during Ole Miss's 55-49 win over LSU.
Just listen to how he described a big fourth quarter stop by the Ole Miss defense on LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels.

"The coverage was there. They lifted that man up to the sky like he was Jesus, letting him know they were gonna put him on the cross right there."
What a wild comment.
How does one even jump to that in their head on the spot during a football game? Maybe he was just outrageously excited about the game and just put together a word salad of a call and let loose. Either way, it might be the only time you ever hear of a crucifixion line during a college football game.
It also had a way overshadowing the Ole Miss win in what might have been one of the most entertaining college football games of the season.
Ole Miss took the lead with under a minute to play in the fourth quarter and had to hold off a late drive from LSU that came down to one final pass into the end zone.
LSU initially got as far as the Ole Miss 16-yard line with 12 seconds to play but multiple false start penalties pushed them all the way back to the 25-yard line.
