Wide receiver Roderick Daniels Jr. proved to be a big play waiting to happen and was a key component to the success of the SMU Mustangs as they earned a trip to the 2024 ACC Championship Game in their first season in the league. Daniels finished the regular season with 30 catches for 502 yards (a 16.7 yards per catch average) with 2 touchdowns and constantly made the big plays when Rhett Lashlee, Kevin Jennings and the rest of the Ponies needed it most.
