WWE star Sheamus is known as "The Celtic Warrior" because he's a big, bad, Irish dude who beats the heck out of his opponents.
He's pretty intimidating to witness in the ring and, apparently, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are hoping to draw on some of the "aura" on Sept. 28, 2024, when they take on Louisville in South Bend.
In a video released to social media, Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman is seen "Facetiming" Sheamus to invite him to be on the Irish's sideline for the contest.
The two go on for a bit about the magnitude of the game before Sheamus — who wears tights in front of large groups of people, mind you — asks about the dress code:
Couldn’t talk about the Irish wearing green without our guy @WWESheamus ☘️

There wasn't a reveal of what the actual jerseys will look like on game day, but we have seen variations in the past... and they are pretty slick:

“I’ve got plenty of green, Coach,” Sheamus told Freeman. “Plenty of green. Probably enough green for everybody in that stadium. So, I’ll be there.”
