The 2023 Georgia football season has come to a close with the 27 to 24 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, at least the 2023 version of the roster. With the loss, there will be inevitable NFL Draft Declarations, impending NCAA Transfer Portal entries, and roster movement unlike you've probably seen at this point in the season for the Bulldogs.
The latest update in roster movement is wide receiver Jackson Meeks has announced that he will transfer to the Syracuse Orange for the 2024 college football season. In his time with the Bulldogs, Meeks saw the field sparingly. He totaled just 10 receptions throughout his three-year career at Georgia.
Meeks' decision to commit to the Orange likely stems from the fact that former Bulldogs position coach Fran Brown was recently hired as the team's next head coach. Brown has been praised by numerous Bulldog coaches for his ability to recruit.
With players making their intentions known in the coming days and weeks, here is a running update of the roster movements as they happen.
