The Wisconsin football team gained its second official commitment from the transfer portal.
The Badgers received a commitment from former Ball State tight end Tanner Koziol after his visit to Madison this weekend.
Koziol was one of the top tight ends in the transfer portal. According to the 247Sports Transfer Portal rankings, Kozoil was the third-ranked tight end available in the portal.
The 6-7 tight end had a breakout season with Ball State this year. He hauled in 94 recptions for 839 yards and eight touchdowns. Koziol has 18 career touchdowns in 36 games.

As a recruit, Koziol was a 2-star tight end out of La Grange Park, Illinois. He had a total of four offers, according to 247Sports. Ball State was the lone FBS offer.
Adding Koziol to the roster replaces Riley Nowakowski, who entered the transfer portal earlier this week. The tight end position has been non-existent the past two seasons. Wisconsin is hoping Koziol will be a player that can bring more production to the position with the new offensive scheme that Jeff Grimes is bringing to Madison.
