A Wisconsin football portal target has announced his transfer destination.
Former Baylor wide receiver Armani Winfield took to social media to announce he will continue his playing career at Colorado State.

Winfield will have three seasons of eligibility remaining with the Rams.
On3’s Pete Nakos reported last week that Winfield was in Madison for a visit, but the Texas native is headed elsewhere.
Winfield spent two seasons with Baylor, redshirting his freshman year after appearing in three games and recording one catch for ten yards. He earned a bit more time in 2023, logging seven receptions for 90 yards before entering the transfer portal.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver was rated as a three-star transfer and the No. 124 WR available in the portal.
Despite not bringing in Winfield, UW shouldn’t have many worries with its wide receiver depth. Wisconsin will have key contributors Will Pauling, Bryson Green, Vinny Anthony, and CJ Williams returning for another season, plus some young depth in Quincy Burroughs, Trech Kekahuna, and Kyan Berry-Johnson. They also brought in former Michigan State wide receiver Tyrell Henry during the winter transfer window.
While Wisconsin could have used an extra body on the boundary, depth at other positions is the bigger concern. UW has already addressed the need for extra bodies at offensive line by landing Leyton Nelson and Joey Okla, and they’ve brought in some potential defensive line help for visits in Jay’Viar Suggs and CJ West.
Wisconsin football head coach Luke Fickell spoke after the Badgers’ final spring practice about remaining active in the portal, so don’t rule out another potential addition to the 2024 roster.
