West Virginia redshirt freshman defensive back Christion Stokes announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal Thursday evening.
In three games this season, Stokes recorded two tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss, mainly seeing time on the special teams unit.
Coming out of high school, Stokes chose West Virginia over Cincinnati, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State, Syracuse, Western Michigan, and several others.
Stokes becomes the fourth Mountaineer to announce his intentions to depart from the program joining wide receiver Cortez Braham Jr., Jeremiah Aaron, and Davis Mallinger.
