WVU Football Offense Lineman Enters Transer Portal

WVU football offensive lineman Aiden Ellis is entering the transfer portal, he announced on social media Wednesday.

“I want to thank Coach Neal Brown and Coach (Matt) Moore for providing me the opportunity to make this dream a reality,” he wrote. “With a heavy heart I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 4 years of eligibility.”

Ellis is an in-state product from George Washington High School in Charleston, W.Va. He joined the Mountaineers as a preferred walk-on last offseason.

He redshirted and did not see the field in 2024.

Ellis joined the Mountaineers alongside high school teammate and fellow walk-on Abe Fenwick, a quarterback.
