Watch: The grind doesn't stop for University of Georgia's Track and Field star Matthew Boling

Track and Field stars are known for their incredible work ethic. University of Georgia's Track and Field Star Matthew Boling is no exception.

In the latest episode of The Whistle's "No Days Off," Matthew Boling gives us a front row seat into what it takes to become a track star. Spoiler alert: it takes serious dedication. Boling is constantly trying to beat his personal record times on the track while balancing school, his social life and making the right decisions in diet and wellness so he can be the best version of himself on the track.

Boling started running competitively in sixth grade and says Track and Field was the first sport he was good at right away. He stuck with it, stayed in his lane and never looked back.

Since his humble beginnings, Boling has added some serious hardware to his trophy shelf. These include winning four gold medals at the 2019 Pan American U20 Championships in San Jose, and 2021 NCAA Outdoor First Team All-American in the 100m, 200m and 400X100 relay. However, Boling says the ultimate goal is becoming an Olympian.

Check out the full video below to get a glimpse at what his goals are for this season, his favorite lane during a race, and how he stays focused being a student-athlete at a prestigious university:
