India holds the record for the highest successful run chase and the highest score while batting second in the history of Women's ODIs. India registered 369 on the 20th of September 2025 against Australia in Delhi while chasing a huge score of 413 in the third ODI of the series. They successfully chased 339 in the Semifinal of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025.
It remained the highest score by a team while batting second for over four years. More importantly, it remained the highest successful run chase in Women's ODIs for more than 11 years.
It was the final of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2022 in Hamilton. England was chasing a mammoth total of 357 and Nat Sciver-Brunt shined with her unbeaten hundred. While England managed to post 298/8, they lost the match.
This remained the highest score in the second innings of a Women's ODIs in the World Cups for 8 years. South Africa Women put up a fight while going down to England Women in the World Cup in 2017.
England Women could not win the match against India Women. However, they posted the third highest total while chasing a target at the time in the Women's ODIs and joined the elite teams to have scored over 300 runs while batting second.
