The Asian Games 2026 men's cricket tournament was held at the Korogi Athletic Park in Nisshin, Japan, from September 24 to October 3, 2026. India beat Pakistan by 19 runs in the gold-medal final on October 3, 2026, with India posting 211/6 and Pakistan finishing on 192/6.
The tournament produced some explosive batting, particularly in the final. Three players stood out for their six-hitting across the competition, combining to produce some of the most destructive innings of the event.
Hasan Nawaz smashed nine sixes across two matches in the Asian Games 2026, the highest tally among all players in the tournament. He scored 123 runs at an average of 168.49, including one fifty, though his efforts came in a losing cause as Pakistan finished as silver medallists.
In the final against India, Hasan scored 96 off 51 balls, striking seven of his nine tournament sixes in that innings along with five fours. He was caught behind off Shivam Dube from the final ball of the match, with Pakistan unable to overhaul India's total.
Abhishek Sharma hit eight sixes across two innings in the Asian Games 2026, scoring 68 runs at a strike rate of 219.35, including one fifty in the final against Pakistan. Seven of his eight tournament sixes came in that single innings.
In the final, Abhishek scored 61 off 28 balls, bringing up his fifty from just 20 balls and reaching the landmark with a six before being stumped. His seven sixes in the final equalled Yuvraj Singh's record for the most sixes by an Indian in a single T20I innings against Pakistan. With that knock, Abhishek's overall tally of sixes against Pakistan in T20Is reached 14, the most by any batter in matches between the two sides. He also reached 104 sixes in T20 cricket in 2026 across all formats, following his record 108 sixes in 2025.
Lokesh Bam of Nepal hit six sixes in one innings during the Asian Games 2026, scoring 52 runs at a strike rate of 236.36. The right-handed batter struck those sixes against Japan, making him the third-highest six-hitter in the tournament.
Bam is part of Nepal's squad for the Asian Games 2026, with Dipendra Singh Airee serving as the team's captain. His innings against Japan was among the most aggressive of the tournament outside the final.
