Cricket West Indies announces blockbuster schedule for home season

Cricket enthusiasts in the Caribbean can look forward to a spectacular year as Cricket West Indies has unveiled a home season packed with high‑profile contests against Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and Pakistan.

The home season gets underway with a multi‑format clash against the Lankan Lions, beginning with a three‑match ODI series at Sabina Park in Jamaica from June 3, followed immediately by a three‑match T20I series at the same venue, which concludes on June 14. The focus will then shift to Antigua & Barbuda, where the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium hosts two Tests, the first starting June 25, followed by the second on July 3.

After a brief pause, the Men in Maroon will welcome New Zealand for a five‑match ODI series. The Guyana National Stadium will stage the opening three encounters from July 11, before the teams move to Barbados for the final two matches at Kensington Oval, wrapping up on July 21.

The season will reach its crescendo with a two‑match Test series against Pakistan. The opening Test begins on July 25 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago, while the decisive second Test will unfold at Queen’s Park Oval from August 2.
