Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar has won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Delhi Capitals in Match 39 of the Indian Premier League 2026. The match will start at 07:30 pm IST.
"We will bowl first. It is a high-scoring ground. We will try to put them under pressure while chasing. Different players are contributing in different matches. We have played good cricket in the first half and will carry on with the momentum in the second half. We are here to win the match," Rajat Patidar said.
DC skipper Axar Patel wanted to bowl first as well.
"We would have fielded as it is high scoring ground, so it is better to chase here. It is a big tournament, and you will have to talk positively. You can't give excuses and give consistent effort to win the games," he said.
