With the series at 1-1, South Africa and England will look to seal the T20I series when they clash in the third and final T20I match of the series on Sunday.
After a frustrating ODI series loss, England finally bounced back in the second T20I and defeated the Proteas by a whopping 146 runs. They bounced back in style, scoring the first-ever 300+ total in T20I history, where the openers Jos Buttler (83 off 30) and Phil Salt (141 off 60) thrashed every bowler around the park. Later, they bowled out the visitors on just 158 runs, and Jofra Archer took three wickets. With the series now drawn at 1-1, the third and final match becomes even more crucial for the hosts.
South Africa, meanwhile, after winning the opening match, fell in the second match. While chasing a mammoth total of 305, Aiden Markram's side couldn't stand in front of a lethal bowling attack from England and were bowled out for just 158. Aiden Markram was the highest scorer from the team with 41 runs on his card from just 20 deliveries. With the final match becoming do or die, South Africa will have to take the charge from the front.
