Fans expose Rohit Sharma’s ‘double standards’ on social media

Fans exposed the double standards of people who call Mumbai Indians (MI) talisman Rohit Sharma a selfless player on social media after the 37-year-old joined Virat Kohli in the list of players with the slowest centuries in the Indian Premier League (IPL) following his three-figure score against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.  During the weekend, Rohit Sharma required 62 balls to bring up his hundred, entering the list of batters alongside Virat Kohli who took over 60 deliveries to reach the milestone in the elite T20 event.  Previously, Virat Kohli reached his hundred against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the tournament in 67 balls, leading to questions about his approach and strike-rate in the T20 format.  Some went on to dub him as selfish because they reckoned that he was playing for personal milestones and not for his team Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). However, unlike Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma didn’t receive much hate on social media due to his slow knock.
