The groundstaff is maintained by the Mumbai Cricket Association. However, they worked overtime to keep the facilities top-notch, allowing hassle-free practice for Pandya. Impressed by their dedication, Pandya promised to reward everyone involved after the World Cup.
On March 26, Hardik Pandya, while practicing for the Mumbai Indians, called the staff and handed them the tokens of appreciation. He gave some gifts and some financial rewards of INR 10 lakhs each.
