Australia’s explosive batter Travis Head considers Indian batting legend Rohit Sharma as his role model. On several occasions, Head has been seen following Rohit Sharma. Now, Travis Head has gone past Rohit Sharma in a major milestone.

In fact, during the third Test match being played between Australia and England in Adelaide, Travis Head smashed a brilliant century. With this hundred, he has surpassed Rohit Sharma in terms of scoring centuries in the World Test Championship (WTC) cycle. Rohit Sharma has nine centuries in the WTC cycle, while Travis Head has now taken his tally to ten centuries.

Meanwhile, the record for the most centuries in the WTC belongs to England great Joe Root, who tops the list with 22 centuries. He is followed by Steve Smith with 13 centuries. Kane Williamson and Marnus Labuschagne have scored 11 centuries each, while Shubman Gill and Travis Head have recorded 10 centuries each.
