India A won the second unofficial Test against Australia A by five wickets at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. With this win, they took the series, as the first game had turned out to be a draw.

Hosts came back from the day at 169/2 in 41 overs. Sai Sudharsan needed six to reach his half-century and was also accompanied by Manav Suthar, who had walked in following the loss of Devdutt Padikkal (5 off 8) late on Day 3. Suthar's 29-ball innings could manage only five runs before being bowled by Todd Murphy.

From there on, KL Rahul (who had retired not-out on Day 3) and Sudharsan anchored the chase by batting at exactly the rate India A would have dared hope for.

They didn't leave any chance and sent back the poor balls whenever they were offered. The left-handed batsman got out for 100 off 172 when he completed his landmark.

Walked out Dhruv Jurel, one of the six Indian A batters who got out for only one run in the first innings. The wicketkeeper-batter played far more confidently and was graceful in his stroke play during his batting with Rahul. Five fours and three sixes were part of Jurel's 66-ball 56 as he scored 115 runs for the fifth wicket alongside Rahul.

Jurel was dismissed by Corey Rocchiccioli before Nitish Kumar Reddy (16* off 14) completed the formalities along with Rahul. The experienced pro remained undefeated on a brilliant 176 off 210 with 16 fours and four sixes, and Rahul was awarded the Player of the Match for his marathon innings.
