Hardik Pandya dismissed Saim Ayub for a duck in the India vs Pakistan match in the Asia Cup 2025. The southpaw, who was dismissed on zero in the previous match against Oman, tried to play a shot on Pandya’s delivery but couldn’t keep the ball down and was caught by Jasprit Bumrah at point. Hardik was ecstatic after providing the first breakthrough, and the Indian fans celebrated wildly.

The Indian seamer started with a wide on the leg stump, and his first legal delivery of the match was enough to dismiss the Pakistan opener.

Bumrah made another important contribution when he got rid of danger man Mohammad Haris, whose catch was grabbed by Hardik. The Player of the Match in the previous game tried to go after the best bowler in the world, but his mistimed shot landed safely in the hands of Jasprit.

Earlier, Salman Agha won the toss and elected to bat first against the Men in Blue in Dubai.
