Mumbai Indians, the five-time IPL champions, broke their jinx and started their IPL 2026 with a dominant victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets at Wankhede last time out. KKR batted well and posted 220 runs for 4 wickets in their 20 overs. But MI had other plans; they sealed the match comfortably with 6 wickets in hand.
