Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will host Punjab Kings (PBKS) in match 49 of IPL 2026 on Wednesday, May 6. For Punjab Kings, a win will take them inches closer to the playoffs whereas victory for Sunrisers Hyderabad will help them displace the former and become the new table toppers.

SRH were on a five-match winning streak before they were stunned at home by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
