Kolkata Knight Riders keep their playoff hope alive after defeating Mumbai Indians on May 21 at the Eden Gardens in Match 64 of IPL by 4 wickets. Rinku Singh hit the winning run, having 7 balls left.
Initially, the KKR bowler set the tone of the match. Sunil Narine has been an absolute miser while the pacers gave their shares of runs to the MI batters. Corbin Bosch got them to a respected score.
But Manish Pandey chased it down. Mi had their usual clueless fielding despite some stunners. Rovaman Powell used his two lives properly as Pandey led the chase. It was his first match for KKR this season. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was injured on his head, a reason due to which Pandey was sent before Cam Green.
