Rishabh Pant leads the way among Indian batters with 2731 runs, with Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli following him. Rahul, along with Ravindra Jadeja and Yashasvi Jaiswal, has achieved this remarkable milestone. Joe Root from England leads the global tally with 6080 runs, ahead of Australia’s Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne.

Earlier in the day, India made a strong start on Day 1 of the second Test against the West Indies, finishing at 318/2. After choosing to bat, the openers were careful, putting on a 58-run partnership. KL Rahul was dismissed for 38, with Jomel Warrican taking the first wicket.

Yashasvi Jaiswal played an excellent knock, ending the day unbeaten on 173 from 253 balls, including 22 fours. Sai Sudharsan supported him well, making 87 off 165 balls, with 12 boundaries. The pair put on a 193-run partnership.

After Sudharsan’s dismissal, Shubman Gill joined Jaiswal at the crease. The two remained not out at stumps. The West Indies bowlers struggled to break the partnership, with Warrican taking both wickets, while the other bowlers couldn’t create enough pressure.
