Kohli’s Dream Comes True - RCB Wins Their First IPL Title

Virat Kohli finally led Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to their first-ever IPL title in 2025.It is a victory that came after 18 years of hope and calamity. RCB won a breathtaking final against Punjab Kings by six runs in Ahmedabad.

Despite the joy of winning the IPL, Kohli shared that Test cricket still holds a very special place in his heart. “This moment [the IPL win] is right up there with the best moments I've had in my career, but it still marks five levels under Test cricket. That's how much I value Test cricket”. According to him, performing in Test cricket earns true recognition in the world of cricket and helps players gain admiration from legends of the game.
