Mohammad Rizwan stuns PCB, refuses to sign central contract

It has been reported that Mohammad Rizwan has not yet signed his central contract, creating some unrest in the national team. The wicketkeeper-batter, who was recently replaced by Shaheen Shah Afridi as ODI captain and dropped from the T20I side, seems dissatisfied with these decisions. Rizwan has refused to sign the contract, feeling that his dignity has been compromised. This decision is believed to stem from his displeasure with his removal from the position of Pakistan‘s ODI captain.

He wants the immediate reintroduction of Category A for senior and top performers. Rizwan has urged for a guarantee that a new captain will be given a fixed tenure and full control over their plans, free from board interference.
