The ODOMMO Bangladesh T20 Cup 2026 has officially launched as a high-stakes domestic alternative following the national team’s withdrawal from the T20 World Cup. Designed to keep the nation’s premier white-ball talent match-ready, the tournament runs from February 5 to February 9 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
The competition features three specially formed squads, Dhumketu XI, Durbar XI and Duronto XI, bringing together national stars and emerging prospects. Each team is led by a prominent figure in Bangladesh cricket:
| Team | Captain | Head Coach | Assistant Coach |
| Dhumketu XI | Litton Kumar Das | Mohammad Salahuddin | Ashraful |
| Durbar XI | Najmul Hossain Shanto | Mizanur Rahman Babul | Tushar Imran |
| Duronto XI | Akbar Ali | Hannan Sarkar | Rajin Saleh |
The BCB has invested Tk 2.5 crore (approx. INR 1.87 crore) in prize money and player fees to ensure the tournament is not merely symbolic but fiercely competitive.
