Bangladesh captain Jaker Ali has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan in Super 4 match 5 of the Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
“We will bowl first as the wicket is dry and we have done well as a bowling unit. We will have to bat well as our bowlers are in form. We are playing for the championship,” Jaker Ali said.
Pakistan skipper Salman Agha would have batted had he won the toss, and he is happy with the outcome.
“We wanted to bat first as the pitch is looking good. The scoreboard pressure is the key. Our bowlers have done well so far, and we have defended totals. We have to play good cricket for 40 overs. Playing in any final is important. We are looking forward to playing a good match,” Salman Agha said.
