Peshawar Zalmi have won their second Pakistan Super League (PSL) title and their first since 2017 after Babar Azam led the franchise to a five-wicket victory over Hyderabad Kingsmen in the 2026 season's final on 3 May at the Gaddafi Stadium, to end a nine-year wait for the trophy.

Hyderabad Kingsmen were all out for 129 in 18 overs after being asked to bat by Zalmi and Saim Ayub made 54 off 50 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes to lead the scoring, while for Zalmi Aaron Hardie was the star of the show with figures of 4 for 27 and Nahid Rana took 2 for 22.

In reply Zalmi paced their chase superbly to reach their target with 15.2 overs still remaining, and it was Hardie who topped-scored in the final innings with a brilliant unbeaten 56 from just 39 balls including nine fours, despite Mohammad Ali taking 3 for 38 in a valiant effort for Kingsmen in their failed defense.

Sufiyan Muqeem dominated the bowling throughout the entire season and won the Player of the Series award as he ended with 22 wickets in 11 matches, at an average of 14.41.

Here is the full list of the top individual achievements from the PSL 2026 tournament:

High-scoring captain Babar Azam was the leading run-scorer in the league with 588 runs in 11 innings, at a remarkable average of 73.50 and strike rate of 145.91.

Sufiyan Muqeem picked up the most wickets in the tournament with 22, making him the highest wicket-taker at a respectable average of 14.41, while Fakhar Zaman recorded the most fifty-plus scores with four half-centuries and he was on course for a hundred on two occasions in the league in eight games that he scored 401 runs in.

Most centuries was two by Babar Azam, and he recorded the most fours of 60 during the tournament. Sahibzada Farhan and Kusal Mendis were the joint leading six-hitters of the league with 23 each.
