Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar has won the toss and elected to bowl first in Match No.54 of the IPL 2026 against the Mumbai Indians. The match will start at 07:30 pm IST.
"We will bowl first. The wicket is hard, but we want to dismiss them and then complete the chase. The outfield looks good, and we are looking forward to the match. It is important to stay in the present. If we give our best, we can win the contest," Rajat Patidar said.
MI skipper Suryakumar Yadav is happy to bat first.
"We are happy to bat first and put runs on the board. It is important to put pressure. We are not thinking about the past and giving our best in today's match. We have spoken about our bowling, and our bowlers are trying their best. We will have to get better," he said.
