Delhi Capitals executed a phenomenal chase and stunned Rajasthan Royals, winning the game by 7 wickets in Match 43 of the IPL 2026 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Chasing an enormous 226 on the cards, DC successfully finished their highest run chase in IPL history with conviction. KL Rahul slammed 75 runs, supported well by the knocks of Pathum Nissanka and Nitish Rana. They kept the required rate in check, while Stubbs and Ashutosh did the rest by closing the chase with 5 balls to spare.

Opting to bat, RR managed to put 225/6 against their name on the scorecards. Skipper Riyan Parag played a captain's knock and scored a superb 90 off 50 balls. Donovan Ferreira chipped in with a cameo of 47* in just 14 balls while contributions from Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja helped RR post 225 on the cards. Mitchell Starc took 3 wickets for the Capitals and restricted the flow in the death overs.
In reply, DC started the chase with an intent and piled on 70 in the first 6 overs. Aggressive 62 off 33 balls by Nissanka paved the way for Rahul who carried the innings with a fine 75 runs. Nitish Rana's quick fire 33 kept the chase in check. Although DC lost 2 wickets in the middle overs, Tristan Stubbs and Ashutosh Sharma made sure to avoid any hiccups. The duo guided DC to their highest-ever chase in the history of IPL, that too with five balls to spare.
