Saim Ayub becomes King of Ducks in T20Is

Pakistan batter Saim Ayub became the King of Ducks after failing to open his account in the Super 4 match against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2025. He has recorded the most ducks in T20Is in a calendar year. The 23-year-old has accumulated four scores of zeroes in the ongoing Continental Cup.

He has six ducks to his name in the shortest format of the game in 2025. He has equalled the record of Richard Ngarava of Zimbabwe.

He was dismissed for a duck against Oman on September 12 and against India on September 14. His catch was taken by Jasprit Bumrah on Hardik Pandya’s delivery.

In the match between Pakistan and UAE in Dubai on September 17, Saim Ayub managed a two-ball duck and was dismissed by pacer Junaid Siddique.
