Shreyas Iyer’s Stardom Beyond Cricket Leaves Fans Amazed

The Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer displays his excellence through his performance both on and off the cricket field.  He has now joined a racing team as their brand ambassador, showing his growing popularity across different sports. Iyer leads PBKS as their captain during IPL 2026 while the franchise experiences a successful beginning. The team holds first place in the points table because they have won six out of eight matches. 

Mumbai Falcons Racing has selected Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer to serve as their brand ambassador for the F1 Sim Racing project which they will launch in India. The F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026 begins its nationwide talent search through virtual racing which establishes this competition as its first stage of operation. 

With its official partnership to Formula 1 the tournament uses F1 25 to recreate actual race circuits and competitive formats and team configurations. The championship provides Indian gamers with an established route to professional sim racing through its competition which supports PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox platforms. 

Shreyas Iyer will also bring star power to Mumbai Falcons Racing. He will promote the team during the Sim Racing tournament. His arrival shows the strong value of his popularity in Indian sports. Shreyas Iyer has stronger connections to Formula 1 than most people think. He visited the Yas Marina Circuit to watch the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2023.

He encountered Max Verstappen, the four-time F1 world champion who drove for Red Bull Racing. During their meeting, Iyer gifted Verstappen an Indian cricket jersey, and both posed for photos. Shreyas Iyer now competes in Sim Racing which establishes his presence in the motorsports community.

Shreyas Iyer currently leads his PBKS team in IPL 2026. He has achieved a total of 309 runs through seven innings which results in an average of 61.80 and a strike rate of 174.57 with four fifties.

The Punjab Kings achieved their record-breaking T20 run chase by successfully pursuing 265 runs which they accomplished against the Delhi Capitals. Iyer achieved an outstanding performance in the match by scoring 71 runs from 36 balls without being dismissed.

Shreyas Iyer has achieved his peak performance level in IPL 2026 and he aims to secure the first title for Punjab Kings this season. The previous year PBKS lost their final match against RCB which resulted in their narrow defeat. Punjab has a strong opportunity to achieve historical success through IPL 2026 because of Shreyas Iyer's intelligent leadership abilities.
