Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the massive Eliminator game that we are set to witness today between two sides who have played some amazing cricket this season.

IPL 2026 season has its first finalist as Royal Challengers Bengaluru soundly thrashed Gujarat Titans by 92-runs to reach the summit clash. Focus moves to New Chandigarh as teams placed number three and four battle it out tonight to make it to the second qualifier and play the Titans at this very venue on Friday night. The loser of the game doesn’t get any more chance as they have to pack their bags and head home.

Sunrisers Hyderabad perhaps are one of the few sides who have a very strong top order and a very solid middle-order. Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Heinrich Klaasen have formed a solid top four, that has made life difficult for the opposition bowlers. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Salil Arora have chipped in with key runs when needed and given their team the impetus towards the end overs. Bowling has been well led by skipper Pat Cummins with the likes of Sakib Hussain and Praful Hinge for company. Eshan Malinga has been the bowler of the season for SRH with his nippy pace and subtle changes in speed that has made scoring runs against him difficult.

Rajasthan Royals on the other hand began the IPL 2026 season on a strong note winning their first four games. Over the course of the season their form suffered massive inconsistencies. Going back home to Jaipur saw the Men in Pink lose two out of three games. Just when the season seemed to getting to a point where playoff spots were seemingly getting out of their grasp, the side rallied back. First they ended their winless record this season at home to beat Lucknow Super Giants, and then beat Mumbai Indians by 30 runs to secure their spot in the final four as skipper Riyan Parag heaved a sigh of relief. Batting talents like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal have done well at the top of the order. Bowling has been brilliantly led by Jofra Archer with the likes of Nandre Burger and Brijesh Sharma playing the perfect support act.
