Bangladesh captain Litton Das has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sri Lanka in Match 1 of the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2025. The match is being played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Toss Decision – Captain’s Comments & Reasoning

“We will bowl first. The team batting second wins over here, but the wicket is also an important part. When you qualify, you play three games. All the players are ready to perform and are doing a great job,” Litton Das said.

Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka would have bowled first as well had we won the toss, but he is not worried.

“We would have bowled first as well. It is a used pitch and doesn’t matter to bat first. A lot of young players are performing for the country. They have matured,” Chraith Asalanka said.
