Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has completed 100 wickets in T20Is. He is the third Bangladesh bowler to reach the landmark after Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman. He recorded the feat after dismissing Mohammad Nawaz in the Super 4 match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
He took three wickets in the contest, with Sahibzada Farhan and Shaheen Afridi being the other two.
Taskin is the second-fastest Bangladesh bowler to complete the century of wickets. Mustafizur holds the record, with his 100 wickets coming in 81 matches. Taskin has taken 82 matches for his 100 scalps. Shakib got his 100th wicket in the 84th game.
Taskin has 102 wickets from 82 T20Is at an average of 21.55. He has three four-fers in T20Is. Taskin has amassed 17 wickets against Pakistan from 12 T20Is at an average of 18.52 and an economy rate of 6.89.
